If you're looking for a comprehensive manufacturing service to deliver the highest quality pre-cut, pre-nailed frames and trusses, look no further than Carters.
With 15 manufacturing plants around New Zealand, you get to deal directly with us, the manufacturer, not some third party.
So why else would you want to deal with us? Because we are:
Quality is more than just a word to us - it's the code we live by. By following a proven process of quality assurance and using only the highest quality, kiln dried and machine stress-graded timber (such as Pinex Laserframe) we ensure that our frames and trusses are the most stable you can buy. Laserframe is a continually machine stress graded product that provides structural assurance to our customers.
But don't just take our word for it. Winstone Wallboards and James Hardie Building Products also recommend kiln-dried, machine graded framing as they believe it reduces the risk of poor in-service performance, and minimises vertical shrinkage.
And perhaps your final assurance of our commitment to quality is the fact that all our frames and trusses are manufactured in strict accordance with the New Zealand Standard NZS3604:1999 Timber Framed Buildings.
Our highly skilled staff use the latest and greatest technology to deliver the best possible job, at the right time. Specifically, we operate:
* A dedicated CAD-CAM computer software programme for engineering, detailing and design;
* A computerised tracking process which provides daily progress reports; and
* Computerised saws and state-of-the-art nailing machines and multi-head truss presses.
Typical of our passion for innovation and improvement is the patented Brant Joint®. Simple yet extremely effective, the joint avoids bowing on the end studs of a frame caused by swelling in studs exposed to moisture. Exclusive to Carters, the Brant Joint® is available in all our frame systems.
If we give you a delivery date when we accept your job, we'll stick to it - and that's a promise.
